Timeless Encouragement

The following Spurgeon quote was left in the comments section by WayneDawg, may it bring you encouragement and ingnite within your bones a fire for the lost!

Oh, my brothers and sisters in Christ,
if sinners will be damned, at least
let them leap to hell over our bodies.

And if they will perish, let them perish with our arms about their knees, imploring them to stop,
and not madly to destroy themselves.

If hell must be filled, at least let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go there unwarned and unprayed for.

Amen and amen!

Where are the Spurgeon's of our time? Where is that man of God who will stand solidly upon the Rock of Christ Jesus amidst the ebb and flow of worldly culture decrying its utter hopelessness and emptyness and pointing to the cross of Christ? Where is that man of God who will boldly proclaim; "Make straight the path of the Lord! Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!!"

May we who are called by His name be faithful to humble ourselves before the King and proclaim "Here am I, send me!"
