Examine Yourself

To my dear friends, readers, and casual visitors I ask you now, in this very moment, as you are sitting there staring at these words on your screen to consider that this might be a time divinely appointed by The One True Living God's hand of providence that should cause you to continue reading this short post in order that you may carefully, prayerfully consider the weight and eternal magnitude of your answers to the questions that follow:

Are you a Christian?

Are you saved?

How do you know that you are a true child of God and that you have not been deceived by the enemy into merely thinking that you are truly born-again?

Did you know the demons in hell believe in God Almighty and TREMBLE? (James 2:19) Is yours a demonic faith?

What kind of a Christian are you?

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? (2 Corinthians 13:5)

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (Matthew 7:22-23)

Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: (2 Peter 1:10)

I pray that you'll turn on your speakers, listen to this short four-minute audio clip by Pastor Paul Washer, and honestly, prayerfully, and humbly Examine Yourself!
